Types

Copper sulfate is an inorganic salt that is highly soluble in water.The copper ion is the component of copper sulfate with toxicological implications.Copper is an essential mineral, and the recommended dietary allowance of copper for human adults has been set at 900 µg/day.Copper is also a ubiquitous element. It can be found in the environment and in foods and water.
Formulations include basic copper sulfate, copper sulfate monohydrate, copper sulfate pentahydrate, and copper sulfate anhydrous.
When copper  mixed with calcium hydroxide it is known as Bordeaux mixture.

Copper Sulfate (Pentahydrate) Using-Application Areas

Copper sulfate is used ; as a fungicide, algaecide, root killer, and herbicide in both agriculture and non-agricultural settings. It is also used as an antimicrobial and molluscicide.
Some products containing copper sulfate can be used in organic agriculture.It is used also as an animal nutritional supplement.
Copper sulfate is used as a drying agent in the anhydrous form, as an additive for fertilizers and foods, and several industrial applications such as textiles, leather, wood, batteries, ink, petroleum, paint, and metal, among others.
